ANNAPRASHANAM
CEREMONY OF CONCEPTION
Annaprashan is a Hindu ceremony that marks a baby's first time eating solid food, usually rice or kheer. The ceremony is usually performed when the baby is between six months to one year old. The date is based on the baby's health and the Hindu lunar calendar to ensure it falls on an auspicious day.
